Cincinnati Health Network – The Cincinnati HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Care Program (CHCCP) is an existing network of community health providers serving a large primary care patient base of over 2000 patients. The Community HIV Comprehensive Care Program provides a continuum of outpatient HIV early intervention, quality primary medical/mental health care and supportive services to medically underserved people of this tri-state area.

University of Cincinnati Infectious Disease Center (IDC), Ryan White Part HIV/AIDS Part C ProgramFounded in 1986 as the AIDS Related Disorders Clinic, the IDC is the only provider dedicated to HIV/AIDS care in the region. The IDC provides on-going primary care for approximately 1600 patients and consultative care for 400 patients and is an Adult AIDS Clinical Trials Unit funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease. The staff members of IDC are the primary clinical educators for HIV/AIDS issues in the region, working in conjunction with the AIDS Education and Training Center.

The University Hospital Center for Emergency Care (TUH CEC), HIV Early Prevention Program The HIV Early Intervention Program (EIP), is located in The University Hospital’s Center for Emergency Care. Founded in 1998, this emergency department based HIV testing and counseling program remains highly unique and has been reported as a national example in peer-reviewed medical literature. The EIP offers HIV counseling and testing services to both walk-ins and registered patients not yet diagnosed with HIV, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

STOP AIDS (formerly known as AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati)was founded in 1983 in response to the first AIDS-related deaths in the Cincinnati area. STOP AIDS was the first comprehensive AIDS service organization formed in the state of Ohio and provides a full range of outreach, education and medical case management services to those affected and infected by HIV/AIDS in the tri-state area.  STOP AIDS serves an estimated 950 clients in medical case management services.

Northern Kentucky Independent Health District Department NKHD provides medical case management along with counseling and testing services in the four Northern Kentucky  counties and was a founding member of the CHCCP. A full range of outreach, education and medical case management services are provided to over 250 HIV positive residents of the counties of Northern Kentucky.

IV-C.H.A.R.I.S – A local faith-based organization, whose name is an acronym for Caring Hearts, Assisting, Restoring, Instructing and Serving, is accredited by the Ohio department of Health as an HIV prevention and education program. IV-C.H.A.R.I.S offers HIV/AIDS education, counseling and testing at substance abuse treatment facilities, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and correctional facilities.
